Miller Invest set out to build MetalArena as a centralized platform for managing procurement across large-scale industrial construction projects. Their goal was to replace fragmented, email-based communication with a structured, transparent process that could support complex bidding and supplier collaboration.
However, the nature of industrial procurement introduced several challenges. The platform needed to handle detailed, line-by-line pricing across technical specifications, while enabling multiple suppliers to collaborate and compete within the same project environment. At the same time, it had to support negotiation workflows, version-controlled quotations, and secure handling of sensitive project data.
Creating a solution that could bring clarity, structure, and efficiency to such a complex process—while remaining intuitive for users—was a key challenge.
